Description
These Japanese professional quality "Sokan" branded shears are made at the Sokan Cutlery factory which has a history dating back over 200 years. Originally supplying swords, when the Samurai era ended they switched production to pruning shears and in fact made the first pair of secateurs in Japan over 140 years ago.
Crafted by master craftsmen from only two pieces of metal, these Japanese shears are much stronger than European manufactured ones. Hardened KA70 carbon steel (58 - 60HRC) is used for the blade of this robust, high-quality tool giving a smooth, razor-sharp cut. Suitable for Hedges, shrubs, & topiary.
The special tapered bolt holding these secateurs together allows them to be used for a long time without the need for them to be tightened.
